Q: What should I do after purchasing tickets online?
A: After purchasing tickets online, please keep your receipt (either electronic or physical) and confirm the date, time, and location of the event. On the day of the event, bring your receipt to the ticket booth, where staff will verify it and arrange your participation.
Q: Where can I catch the ferry to the Lamma Island Fishermen's Cultural Village ticket booth?
A: Our ticket booth is located at Sok Kwu Wan, on the southern side of Lamma Island. There are various ferries from Central, Tsim Sha Tsui, and Aberdeen to Sok Kwu Wan. Our ticket booth is next to the pier, and it takes about a minute to walk there after disembarking. For more details, please refer to our transportation page or contact us.
Q: What are your opening hours?
A: We are open Monday to Friday from 10:15 AM to 5:00 PM, and on Saturdays and public holidays from 10:15 AM to 6:00 PM. We are closed on Wednesdays (except for public holidays).
Q: What should we bring for fishing at the cultural village?
A: If you have purchased a specific fishing ticket, you may bring your own fishing gear to the cultural village. Additionally, basic fishing equipment is available for sale in the village for guests who wish to buy what they need on-site. We hope you enjoy your fishing experience!
Q: Is there a fee for keeping the fish caught on the fish rafts?
A: The fish rafts have two fishing areas: one is our stocked fish area, and the other is the open sea area. Guests can take home any fish caught in the open sea area for free; however, fish caught in the stocked area will incur a fee. Thank you for your understanding, and we wish you a great fishing experience!
